New Energy Minor
A minor in New Energy will enhance students’ degrees across engineering, science, and management. As an interdisciplinary minor, the minor leverages curriculum and collaboration across several departments. Many companies and industries in the United States and around the world are moving to advance a clean energy and low-carbon future to reduce and eventually eliminate the negative impact that fossil fuels and inefficient use of traditional biomass have on health and the environment. This minor will create awareness and promote the use of solar, wind, tidal, hydro, electric energy, and hydrogen.
