SCI-100 Introduction to Semiconductors 4 Credits
Prerequisites: None
What are semiconductors, and how is it that they transformed our society?
This question will serve as the basis of this course. Students will explore
foundational concepts through conceptual descriptions, hands-on
activities and simulations. The course surveys semiconductor materials,
devices built from these materials, and a broad overview of the
multilayered complex systems that produce integrated circuits or chips.
