ENGR-490  Senior Multidisciplinary Engineering Design Project    4 Credits

Minimum Class Standing: Senior
This course is intended to prepare BSE students for engineering practice through a major design experience requiring multidisciplinary knowledge and skills aligned with their engineering concentration. Students work in teams to design and develop a prototype system to meet a given specification. The design must incorporate relevant engineering standards and appropriately address manufacturability, sustainability, economic, environmental, ethical, health, safety, and social considerations. Designs are documented in a professional manner and presented publicly.
